Many of the things that have happened to us in this tragic event have just passed in the last five years.   I am reflecting on the event of Katina.  Many of the family for this area have to take with them the clothes on their back and leave their home land. This has been a catastrophic event in all our live.  Thinking back on this event as to what I would have done in this situation. I would try to save the family picture album. In my family picture album has held everything that has happened in it.  The picture will be the best way to recall some of the events as well as recall culture in your family lives. I would then select the family Bible this is a document of record of time event in all our live. It contains the birth and death of the entire family members as well as record of family history. This bible has been in my house for my grandparent and their parent. It tell us who we are and where we came from. The third item that I would take would be the safe box that has all other vital record. 

These three things will have excellent value and represent history, family record and information that will kept my family alive in my heart and in the culture of my family live. When I look back at the picture album will show me the type of family.  I want to remember what people are like in my home land well as family culture, event, and birthdays.  The thing in these books cannot be replaced. I would like to keep these memories as part of my live.

After arriving the hardest thing that will happen to a person in the event of this type is to tell someone that at you are not able to keep the family record.  The Holly Bible and a picture album too many people are the event of their live. In order for me, to keep some of the memories of my family the picture has been scanner to disk from the old album to keep them alive. 

Thinking back on this exercise has brought back memories of the events behind Katina. This change many people lives. Some of the people was uprooted from the top of the houses and took to state that they do not know, and they loss family member as they watch them die in the street, on sidewalks this has been an exercise on what family value is about.  If you can keep memorizes as part of who you are and why your family value, culture, and believes has been part of what made you today.  I believe the loss of some of the information in my family album and bible would be just as bad as the loss of my identity and family value from the past and present. The people in these books have been my past, present and future. In my family picture is something that we hold dear because picture tell stories, event like birthday, reunion, holiday and keep people in your family  real.
