One quote that I have enjoyed reading in the past has come
from a writing that expresses fear. I enjoy that poem because is inspiring someone
to think about what that will do with the talent and not let anyone tell you
that you cannot success. It tells you to look deep in your fear and think about
what you want to be in life. I like to read it when I am down and it makes me
forget my trouble and inspire. I would
like to share this with everyone. I was inspired from the movie by Mr. Carter a
teacher that wanted to his basketball player to learn more than just basketball.
One of the basketball players was a good
player but the school system was passing them because of the basketball team. His
wanted them to learn and be more so he wanted them to make the highest grade
that they could.
Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson
By Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us
It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.
It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
